Hypnosis and NLP are amazingly effective for removing stress, anxiety and worry from a person’s life. One of my favorite games, which I actually do as a test after our work: I invite my client to try to feel anxious. “Think about anything you want, anytime in the past when you were stressed out to the max and feeling anxious, and try to get that feeling back now.” It was super easy for them to do before, to access stress and FEEL it. When we began our work, they could do it. Now, after our work, the calm sticks. When they search inside themselves to try and find and feel stressed, they look perplexed, and then they report: “I can’t! It’s not happening.”
After shrinks and meds, he finally decided to find what works. Here’s a recent client report from Scott B., of Renton, WA, after one session of Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy for anxiety release:
Me: Try to get anxious.
Scott B: I can’t!
Me: Try harder. Think about any of the stressors in your life. Step into the situations. Really try to feel it.
Scott B (struggles): I can’t.
Scott B: I haven’t felt this good in years.
Me: Hold on to good feelings.
Good! That’s our desired outcome. No stress.
