When people think of hypnosis, they sometimes imagine a standard script, a relaxing voice, and the same suggestions given to every client.
That is not how I work.
At Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP, every session is designed for the person in front of me. Your goals, your history, your patterns, your responses, and the way your mind processes information all matter.
My work is not cookie-cutter. I am not reading a generic script. I am responding, shaping, observing, improvising, directing attention, using language, metaphor, trance, energy, and intuition.
Real, effective change work is personal.
Every Client Is Different
Two people may come in with the same general concern, such as anxiety, stress, smoking, fear of flying, sleep difficulties, or unwanted habits. But the way the problem works inside each person can be completely different.
For one person, stress may be connected to pressure and responsibility.
For another, it may involve old emotional patterns.
For someone else, it may show up as overthinking, tension, procrastination, irritability, or trouble sleeping.
That is why I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
Before we begin the work, I want to understand what you want to change, where the pattern shows up, and what you want instead, what motivates you, and how your mind works. From there, I design the session around you.
A Targeted and Collaborative Process
My sessions are face-to-face, one-on-one, and highly customized. A typical session lasts about 1½ to 2 hours.
The work is collaborative. You are not simply listening passively while I read words from a page. I am paying attention to how you describe the issue, how you respond, what seems important, and where the useful shifts may begin.
Depending on your goals, I may use a combination of direct and indirect hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, metaphor, reframing, regression when appropriate, parts work, Reiki, and other techniques I have developed through many years of practice, including Designer Feelings®, and Designer Beliefs®.
The goal is not simply relaxation, although hypnosis is often deeply relaxing.
The goal is achieving your specific positive changes.
Helping the Mind Learn New Responses
Many unwanted patterns continue because the mind has learned a response that once made sense, or seemed useful, but is no longer helping.
Hypnotherapy and NLP can help the mind update those responses.
That may mean becoming calmer in a situation that used to trigger anxiety.
Feeling more confident where you used to feel uncertain.
Letting go of an old habit.
Changing the emotional response connected to a memory or situation.
Creating new choices where it once felt automatic.
Good hypnotherapy helps the unconscious mind discover better options and take them on board.
More Than a Script
A generic script may be relaxing, but it may not address the actual structure of your concern.
Effective work requires listening, flexibility, experience, and the ability to adapt the process to the person and for the person.
This is where skill matters.
I have been in practice since 2007, over 19 years, helping clients with stress, anxiety, habits, fears, smoking cessation, sleep, confidence, emotional change, performance, and many other goals. Over the years, I have learned that people are often far more capable of change than they realize.
Oftentimes the right question, image, metaphor, trance process, or internal shift can make a profound and immediate difference.
Designed for You
When you come to Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP, the session is not pulled from a file and applied to everyone the same way.
It is created for you.
Your goals.
Your mind.
Your desired outcome.
That is the difference between generic hypnosis and customized change work.
